UC Browser Secretly Sending User's Personal Data To China, May Face Ban In India

UC Browser a part of Alibaba's  Mobile Business group has last year claimed that it has over 100 million monthly active users in India and Indonesia.
UC Browser is now facing a possible ban in India if found guilty under the government's scanner for the alleged leak of mobile data of Indian users.
There are complaints against UC Browser that it sends mobile data of Indian users to the servers in China. The primary complaint is that even if the app is uninstalled by the user the information is still being transferred to Chinese servers without users consent.
UC Browser is the second most used web browser in India after Google Chrome and is a major investor in  Paytm and has also invested in Snapdeal.
If the UC Browser gets banned then it will definitely be a depressing point for other Chinese companies which are operating in India.
